LEDtech-GROW

PROJECT TEAM

LEDtech-GROW has been completely conceived, planned, and designed to integrate young and early-stage researchers into Project activities. The team comprises of six researchers (5 with Ph.D. degrees; three Senior Research Associates, two Research Associates, and one Junior Research Assistant). Our team covers the broad range of expertise necessary to achieve the project goals: chemistry, solid-state physics, materials science (modeling of materials/nanomaterials, advanced characterization), luminescent thermometry, and applied physics. Due to long-standing collaboration with experts in the field of LED devices in the People’s Republic of China, the team members gained experience in the development of several efficient and moisture-stable red-emitting fluoride single crystal inorganic phosphors, as well as in the fabrication of warm white LEDs by combining red-emitting phosphor with a blue InGaN chip and a yellow YAG: Ce3+ phosphor.

We are convinced that the credibility of our team members properly aligns various backgrounds, experiences, and methodologies, directing them collectively toward the long-term objective of modern and energy-saving artificial plant-grow-targeted illuminations in Europe and the improvement of rural agriculture in Serbia.
